VCA is looking for an Experiential Designer / Set Designer in London to shape immersive environments for international brands and cultural institutions.
You will translate strategic and creative concepts into compelling spatial narratives, from initial ideation through to on-site execution. Working closely with creative director and producers, you will ensure each environment is culturally relevant, visually refined, and precisely delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Develop spatial concepts, scenography, and visual direction aligned with project strategy and brand DNA
Create mood boards, references, layout proposals, and design presentations
Design environments, installations, and temporary spaces with strong attention to detail and materials
Select materials, finishes, furniture, and decor elements to maintain visual and conceptual coherence
Collaborate with fabricators, suppliers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility
Oversee on-site styling and installation to safeguard design integrity
Ensure all creative outputs align with timelines, scope, and budget
Profile
Degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field
Strong conceptual and spatial thinking
High level of visual culture awareness
Understanding of materials, fabrication, and build processes
Strong knowledge of relevant 2D and 3D design software
Detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative in international team environments
