An inaugural gala was held to support the Garage Endowment Fund. The main event at the gala was an auction of contemporary art hosted by Sotheby's, featuring 10 works that were donated by artists and galleries such as Jenny Holzer, Maurizio Cattelan and Urs Fischer.
