VCA was a partner in commissioning the contemporary British artist Leonie Bradley to create a participatory installation SWARM and mark the launch of the non-profit movement Bee The Change founded by the materials science company Pangaia.
The 10-metre installation was made of paper bees, created by the artist onsite during COP28UAE conference.
2000 people took part in co-creating the piece by writing their pledges to the nature and folding them into worldwide recognisable fortune-tellers origami shape.
The installation was donated to the Terra Sustainability Pavilion at EXPO2020, Dubai and is open to visit.
